Our exclusive hand-made cart is available to hire for weddings, birthday parties and events. Your options include sweets packages, our new cookies packages, or we provide the cart on its own along with the jars, tongs and scoops and leave the sweet filling up to you. You can also hire the cart on its own without any accessories, should you have an alternative idea for its use!
Our candy cart was originally built by my father for our wedding in October 2015.
His exceptional craftsmanship provided us with a unique and thoughtful gift, and ended up being one of the focal points of the wedding reception. We filled the jars with our own sweets and stamped our square paper bags to add a personal touch, and the addition of ribbons and decorations in line with our colour scheme really enhanced the look of the cart.
After our wedding we were unsure what to do with the cart, so not wanting to reside it into storage and merely collect dust, we decided to launch South Surrey Candy Carts - A handmade cart available for hire in and around Surrey.

- Up to 50 guests, 10 varieties of sweet: £175
Up to 100 guests, 12 varieties of sweet: £225
Up to 150 guests, 14 varieties of sweet: £275
Over 150 guests: £1.20 extra per guest
- We allow approximately 120g of sweets per guest.

- Hire of the cart including glassware, serving utensils and accessories. We also provide paper bags and bunting to match your theme.
- All you need to add are the sweets!
- Includes delivery and set up.

We are based in the village of Chiddingfold, Surrey. Delivery is free within a 10 mile radius. Delivery outside of this radius is charged at £1.00 per mile each way.

Booking & Payments:
Upon receipt of your enquiry, South Surrey Candy Carts will confirm availability for your selected date via email. The date will be provisionally held for 14 days and confirmed once South Surrey Candy Carts have received your non-refundable deposit of £50.00.
We also require a fully-refundable £50.00 breakage deposit, due 4 weeks prior to your event, along with the remaining balance.
Payments can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
We require a £50.00 fully-refundable breakage deposit, along with your balancing payment, due no later than 4 weeks prior to your event.
Assuming there is no loss or damage to either cart or accessories during the hire period, the deposit will be refunded within 7 days.
Any damage or missing items will be charged at the full replacement value, and this will be deducted from the deposit prior to refund.
If you have to cancel your booking within 6 weeks of your event, then you will be liable for 50% of the total order value.
If you have to cancel your booking within 2 weeks of your event, then you will be liable for 100% of the total order value.
Any cancellation before this time period will not be charged.
Should you wish to cancel your order with us then it must be done in writing and South Surrey Candy Carts must acknowledge receipt of this.
If for any unforeseen reason South Surrey Candy Carts is forced to cancel your order then you will be notified by email and all deposits and payments made will be refunded in full.
For services provided within a 10 mile radius of Chiddingfold, Surrey (GU8) delivery fees are included in the hire cost.
For events outside this area there is an additional delivery fee of £1.00 per mile, each way.
Sweet Cart Delivery/Set up:
It is the clients responsibility to seek permission from the venue and to ensure there is sufficient space for the candy cart.
The dimensions of the cart are: Width - 65cm, Length - 120cm, Full height when assembled - 195cm.
Once the sweet cart is set up it can only be moved by a representative of South Surrey Candy Carts.
Clients should ensure that young children are supervised at all times around the candy cart. South Surrey Candy Carts can not be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of our cart or accessories, or from the consumption of confectionery at your event.
Please note that some confectionery may contain or have traces of nut or nut oils, or manufactured alongside products containing nuts.
South Surrey Candy Carts can not be liable for any issues resulting from food allergies.
A list of ingredients can be made available on request.
South Surrey Candy Carts reserves the right to use any photographs taken of the cart for promotional purposes.
Making a booking with South Surrey Candy Carts denotes that you have read, understood and agree with these terms and conditions.
